U23 Eagles – Imama waiting on Sports Ministry to open Dream team VII camp

Dream VII head coach Imama Amakapabo has stated that he awaits the ministry of Youth and sports development to give them go ahead to open camp in Abuja.

In an exclusive interview with brila.net, Imama said the Olympic team is under the operations of the IOC and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as such, he is waiting for approval to go ahead and open the camp.
“The camping issues were the reasons why he had stayed in Abuja for weeks awaiting the approval of the ministry for them to go ahead,”
“It’s not the duty of the NFF to open the camp because the Olympic team is solely the responsibility of the ministry of Youth and sports, whenever they approve, we will comply, “Imama said.
