A second half slump, a lone goal from substitute Henry Offia and another defeat all capture the struggles of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles as the team lost 2-1 in a friendly against Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
A preparatory game ahead of the World Cup this month didn’t offer any hope of the Nigerian team Coached by Paul Aigbogun’s readiness to win the coveted title.

The Flying Eagles have finished as runners up on two occasions (1989 and 2005), in their 12 appearances at the World stage, but the current team don’t look the part.
There are only 18 days before the tournament in Poland gets underway and Nigeria will have a huge task progressing from round one where they face Qatar, USA and Ukraine.
