The Super Eagles have progressed to the quarter-final of the AFCON 2019 with a 3-2 win over holders Cameroon and earned themselves a $75,000 windfall.
A second goal for Odion Ighalo and an Alex Iwobi winner helped the Super Eagles turn around a 2-1 deficit to cruise to another famous win in the competition and claiming a pre kick-off pledge.
Before the game, Aiteo Group – partner of the NFF – chief, Benedict Peters promised the team a $25,000 reward per goal against Cameroon.
