Akabueze Joins Turkish Side Umraniyespor

Forgotten Nigerian winger Chukwuma Akabueze has moved to another Turkish side, Umraniyespor, from Boluspor ahead of the 2019/2020 Turkish First League.

Akabueze, 30, made the move known on his social media account, after joining the club ahead of next season’s Turkish league.

“Thanks to God almighty; For making it possible; Ready to take the next challenge in my career,” he posted.

Akabueze who had two caps for the Super Eagles was a member of the Nigerian team that took part in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.

The player had a brief spell with SK Brann, before joining Chinese Super League side Wuhan Zall in 2013.

He then returned to Norway in a deal that saw him played for Odds BK back in 2014.

Akabueze later moved to turkey and signed for Boluspor since 2017 before moving to Umraniyespor.
