Ahead of his side’s first leg playoff game against Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Europa League, FC Torino Head Coach Walter Mazzarri has cautioned Ola Aina and co to step up their defense.
Mazzarri introduced Aina off the bench in the 1-1 second-leg draw against Shakhtyor Soligorsk in the Europa League.
Torino gave up their lead in the 90+1′ to allow the hosts back in the game, but went through on goals aggregate.
Reacting to how the team must perform against Wolves, the former Watford FC Manager said, “The next round? We will have to give our best, regardless of who our opponent is.
“Since we will play the first match at home, it will be important not to concede a goal. Certainly we will have to do better on defense than today.”
