Nigeria’s Women Basketball team added to Team Nigeria medal on Sunday as they clinched gold medal in the women’s 3×3 basketball events at the ongoing 12th African Games, Cornerstonenewsng.comcan report that.

The team thrashed Kenya 16 -6 in the semi final to set up a titanic clash in the final against Mali.

Mali was leading 20 – 18 and required just a point to emerged winner but Ifunaya Okoro threw a 3 pointer that gave Nigeria the Gold medal.

Few days ago Nigeria’s women Basketball team D’Tigress emerged Africa champions in Dakar, Senegal at the AfroBasketball competition.
