Liverpool will feel Chelsea’s Fury – Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham made his UEFA Champions League debut for Chelsea on Tuesday night against Valencia, but the forward failed to score and couldn’t help the Blues avoid defeat, he hopes that will spur the team on against Liverpool on Sunday.

Abraham went close on a few occasions to registering his first champions league goal, but for the fine form of Valencia goalie Jasper Cillessen, who stood resolute.

Chelsea Manager, Frank Lampard was denied a win at Stamford Bridge yet again as a solitary Rodrigo goal (74′) decided the match.

But, the Chelsea Legend will have another go at it this weekend, when EPL leaders Liverpool come calling at the Bridge and Abraham wants his teammates to bring all the fury – from a game they shouldn’t have lost – down on the Reds.

“(Sunday) is a test of character. We can take our anger out against Liverpool,” he said at Stamford Bridge.

“It’s a massive game and both teams will be going to win. We’ll look forward to putting (tonight’s defeat) right.

“It’s still early doors (in the Champions League). We’re fuming we lost today. But there’s still five games to go – we just have to win our next five.

“We’re obviously disappointed. We didn’t play our best football. Valencia came and stopped us playing the way we wanted so you have to give them credit.

“We’re going to have a lot of ups and downs in a season. We’ve got to move on and not dwell on it.”
