Akwa starlet coach Caleb Esu has expressed regret and disappointment after the newly promoted NPFL side relinquished it unbeaten start to the league season following a 1-2 loss at home to Kano Pillars who have also been disappointing all season.
Esu speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the team had good enough chances go win the game against Kano Pillars but for inability to convert the numerous scoring chances that came their way.
“I’m a very disappointed man, my strikers failed and allowed Kano Pillars pick maximum points from my own home ground in a game which they never even dreamt of getting one draw.
“What really played out, all the chances that we had my players especially my strikers failed to convert these chances.”
