Former AC Milan defender, Taye Taiwo has sent birthday greetings to his former Super Eagles teammate John Mikel Obi who clocks 33 years on Wednesday.
Taiwo while speaking to Cornerstonenewsng.comvia Instagram live sent his wishes following remarks from Anthony Bekederemo.
The former national team captain, Mikel was a 2013 Total AFCON winner and has Three third-place medals.
“I want to say Happy Birthday to John Obi Mikel!”
“And I wish him the very best”
Mikel represented Nigeria at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Finland where the Golden Eaglets crashed out in the group stage.
He was a member of the Flying Eagles side alongside Taye Taiwo that finished second at the 2005 U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands.
