Ighalo regrets not scoring on his Manchester United debut

Odion Ighalo says he regretted not scoring on his premier league debut for Manchester United.

After completing his dream loan move to the Red Devils back in January, Ighalo was handed his debut at Stanford Bridge on February 17.

The 2019 African cup of Nations top scorer came on in the 91st minutes replacement for one of the goalscorers Anthony Martial, and almost scored the but he was denied by Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

Ighalo who was speaking in a live Instagram session said he was gutted for not finding the back of net on his debut, added that he quickly turned his attention to other games.

“I didn’t like that get into me too much because there are more games to play, I thought about it a bit and look forward.” he said.

The 30-year-old Ighalo has now scored four goals for the club from eight games before the season was suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
