Former D Tigers captain, Olumide Oyedemi says he has no regrets about missing the 2016 Olympic Games.

Oyedeji, who led Nigeria to her first Afrobasket title, missed out on Nigeria’s premier basketball appearance at the showpiece.
“I have no regrets. I’m delighted at how far basketball has come in Nigeria. In 2011, nobody wanted to associate with this team”, he posited.
Oyedeji who came to limelight in 1997, represented Nigeria for 19years on the courts, clinching 2Afrobasket Bronze and one Gold.
The former Seattle Supersonics star turned down the invitation to play for Greece because for him it was Nigeria or nothing.
