Mabo draws NFF attention to vacant Falcons coaching position

Former coach of Nigeria’s women national team Ismaila Mabo has called on the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation to shift its focus to filling the vacant coaching position of the Super Falcons after securing the immediate future of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.

Mabo speaking in a chat with  www.brila.net said now that the NFF have extended the contract of the Nigeria Men national team, it is equally expedient that they consider fixing the women national team as well by taking steps to appoint a substantive coach for the team that has been without a coach since the departure of coach Thomas Dennerby.
“There is nothing wrong much about the Nigeria Football Federation holding a discussion with the coach of the Super Eagles, there is nothing wrong in that but in doing that I will like to draw their attention to the other national team especially the Super Falcons, what are they doing about their own case? Let the Nigeria Football Federation think about coaches handling the women national team.”
