Ex Falcons coach Okpodu calls NFF to look inwards for Falcons managerial vacant job

Former coach of Nigeria’s women national team Sam Okpodu has urged the NFF yo simply look inward to fill the vacant Falcons position except they are able to prove beyond measures that Nigeria doesn’t have capable coaches within.

Okpodu speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comfrom his base in the USA said the Foreign coach trial hasn’t proven to be any better than what Nigerian coaches have done with the women national team and as such sees no reason why the Nigeria Football Federation will be thinking of hiring a foreign coach again.
“The whole idea of calling for a foreign or a domestic coach is very rude point, the bottom line is the women need a coach now. They’ve had local coaches who have been successful and they were pushed aside and they’ve gone foreign and foreign hasn’t done it either. So why all these clamour for foreign coaches?
Domestic coaches are equally as good except you can prove to me that you do not have any capable hands within the local community and that’s why you’re going outside.”
