Ajimobi dies at 70

Former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has died at the age of 70.

The former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.

He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Ajimobi and his children.
Ajimobi was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party.
