Midfielder Joe Aribo is back in contention for a spot in the Europa League squad for Rangers ahead of the game against Standard Liege at the Ibrox Stadium.
Aribo was left out of the Gers’ last two matches due to illness, but manager Steven Gerrard has now confirmed the 25-year-old is ready to play a part against the Belgian side on Thursday.
“Ryan Jack is a major doubt, he still has a good chance for the weekend, Aribo will hopefully be back with us, assuming he comes through today’s session,” Gerrard said in his post match conference .
Aribo was a notable absentee in Gerrard’s last outing in the Europa league against Portuguese giants Benfica.
