Rampaging gunmen yesterday killed two police officers and two others at Ohii junction along Orlu- Owerri road, Imo State.
A source from the area told Daily Sun that the gunmen who were in a Toyota Corolla car opened fire on people at the junction killing the policemen; and two other victims, and dispossessed some POS operators around the scene of their money.
According to the source, the policemen who were shot dead were on duty in the area before they met their untimely death. Another gang was also said to have stormed Christiana junction, Egbu Road and robbed POS operators.
Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, could not respond to the call and text messages sent to his phone.
