Mikel Obi lauds Nigerian Police over Father’s rescue

Super Eagles Skipper John Mikel Obi has expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Police Authorities after the team rescued his father from Kidnappers on Monday afternoon.

Mikel, 31, was on International duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the ongoing World Cup in Russia when he got the news of his father’s second Kidnap.

The Eagles Captain kept his calm and decided not to share the story with anyone in the camp as they prepare to take on Argentina in the last Group D game on Friday evening.

The Former Chelsea midfielder took to his social media handles to share his appreciation to the Nigerian Police and everyone for the support since Pa Michael’s return.
