Abia Warriors coach, Henry makinwa has expressed satisfaction with the level of improvement by his players following the 2-1 win away to FC Ifeanyi Uba in Nnewi.
Makinwa, whose team had been on a terrible streak since commencement of the league season attributed the turnaround to his tactics and the players’ understanding.
“At first, I met players I never knew and it was difficult to get them understand what I wanted them to play. Now the boys understand my philosophy and we can take it up from here”, Makinwa said.
Abia Warriors’ next fixture would be a tough one against rivals, Heartland FC.
