Better Days Have Come for Alex Iwobi in Arsenal

Alex Iwobi is a growing influence at Arsenal on the pitch – and in the locker room – as the Youngster put in another electric display on Thursday night to help the Gunners to a win over Qarabag in the Europa League.

Arsenal picked their eight win on the bounce under new Boss, Unai Emery cutting a stubborn Qarabag to size in a 3-0 routing in Baku, and Iwobi was one of the stars performers on the night.

The Nigerian was rated an impressive 7.8, per whoscored.com and only bested by Sokratis Papastathopoulos and goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

After the game, the 22-year-old took over the dressing room with his IG game to share some of the limelight with his teammates; especially Danny Welbeck, Matteo Guendouzi and Emile Smith Rowe.
