Henry Onyekuru’s return to the UEFA Champions League last night did not end as expected following a 1-0 defeat on the road to FC Porto, but the Nigerian international had some positive words for the travelling fans.
Onyekuru played all 90 minutes for Galatasaray, and it will be his fourth appearance for the duration of a champions League match after his time with Belgian side Anderlecht.
After the game, the Winger tweeted a match-action picture with the caption:
Thank you to the traveling supporters that made the journey tonight. It was a close game but unfortunate result. We will bounce back #uefachampionsleague
