World football governing body, FIFA, has released the latest ranking for senior football teams of registered members with the Nigeria Super Eagles retaining the 49th spot.
This new ranking represents the best teams in the world as at September 16th, 2018.
France is Number one, with Belgium and Brazil following in second and the third positions respectively.
Tunisia and Senegal are tied on the 24th position as the most rated Football countries in African Football, meanwhile, Ghana and Morocco are on 45th and 46th position respectively.
Cameroon is the 5th placed African team at 47, with the Super Eagles coming close at 49th but alongside, FIFA 2018 World Cup hosts, Russia.
