Emenike could rejoin Turkish giant Fenerbahce for a third stint

Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike could be on his way towards rejoining Fenerbahce of Turkey, following his recovery from a long-term injury.

Emenike could not make a mark on loan at Las Palmas of Spain and was subsequently released by Olympiakos of Greece, the once-barging attacker is seeking a revival of his career.

A credible confidant of the all-action striker revealed that Emenike has already commenced plans to return to top action in the coming year, but he would prefer a deal with Fenerbahce.

Having enjoyed two spells with the Istanbul-based side, who even stood by him when he had a brush with match-fixing allegations, Emenike feels inclined to seek another fruitful romance with the Turkish Super Lig giants.

Emenike, who has also played for Cape Town FC of South Africa, Karabukspor of Turkey, Spartak Moscow of Russia, Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates and West Ham United of England, is seeking a revival.

However, the 30-year-old Emenike is not looking solely at the chance of rejoining Fenerbahce, as he is also in talks with Istanbul Başakşehir for a possible full contract in January.
