The Thomas Dennerby side who lost to Dominion Hotspur and Asec Mimosa‘s U16 male side in their two previous friendly games, took first half lead with goals from Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie and Franciscan Ordega.
The reigning African champions added the fourth in the second half as the Ivorians defended for their life to prevent total whitewash.
Nigeria are grouped alongside familiar foes Equatorial Guinea,South Africa and Zambia in Group B of the 2018 African Women Cup of Nations.
They Begin their title defence against Banyana Banyana of South Africa on November 18 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, Cape Coast.
