Former Konga CEO commits suicide in Lagos

 

 

 

The former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, Nick Imudia has allegedly committed suicide in Lagos.

Konga id one of Nigeria’s prominent e-commerce platforms.

Imudia reportedly jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Tuesday evening, June 25, 2024. He was said to have made some calls to his his brother in the United States, providing instructions for the distribution of his wealth, and spoke to his young daughter, assuring her that she would always find him in the sky.

His sudden death has caused family, friends, and colleagues serious pains.

They found it difficult to believe that the business mogul took his life .struggling to comprehend why the successful businessman would take his own life. Imudia hails from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, saying that: “Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25.

Imudia’s personal life had seen challenges, including a marriage that ended due to irreconcilable differences. Despite these struggles, those close to him are baffled by his decision to end his life.
