Gunmen have ambushed and killed two officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service(NIS) in Taraba State.
The officials, CIA Oza James Oghene, and CIA Adike Augustine Chiedozie , until their death,were attached to Takum Border Corps Unit of the Command.
According to CIS HK Usman,” the two men were ambushed and gruesomely murdered on Monday, 17/04/2023, by unknown gunmen or militia group on LISSAM(USSA LGA),Takum road, while riding on official motorcycle back to their base in Takum. As investigation is on going, the Command is liaising with the Army, Police, and other relevant security agencies to unravel and unmask those behind the dastardly act, please.
” It’s with deep regret and sorrow, I wish to most respectfully inform you of the sudden, tragic and painful death of two Personnel of the Service, serving in Taraba state Command”.
