Helicopter crashes in Lagos , 2 rescued

There was pandemonium at Oba Akran Ikeja, Lagos, ,when an helicopter belonging to Airfirst hospitality and Tour Ltd with registration number 5NCCQ,
crashed on the road and burst into flames.
The incident happened at about 3.20 pm adjacent to the AP filling station.
The two crew members were rescued alive, but the identies of the survival is yet to be revealed.
It was gathered that the helicopter was noticed making laud noise and trying to manipulate so it won’t crash on a building.
A witness, Moses Ngene ,said that the loud noise attracted him that the chopper was in danger,” I was going to Computer Village to repair my phone, so ,I decided to pick some money in an ATM at UBA , while I was trekking to UBA, I heard the helicopter making some loud noise while it was trying to manipulate, probably not to crash on a building, I knew there was trouble, I wanted to run inside the bank, but I was scared that it might crash on the roof, so I started running towards the Ikeja Under bridge, bet before I could run far, I heard a loud crash . I don’t know how the crew members escape. When I rushed back, people were consoling two persons. The persons were able to say that they were only two in the chopper”.
Another witness, John Obidigbo, said that he was buying fuel at FO filling station, known as AP filling station, when people started shouting that we should run for cover , I ran to an eatery besides the filling station. I was told that two white men and two black people were rushed to the hospital, I can’t tell the actual story, but the good thing is that nobody died. Imagine if the helicopter had crashed into the fuel dump in the filling station, on top any building, vehicles or human beings. The casualties would have been so devasting”.
However, Southwest Coordinator National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)Mr Ibrahim Falinloye, confirmed that the two crew members in the helicopter were rescued alive.
Mr Falinloye, said,” we have confirmed from the control tower that only two people were onboard and the two were rescued alive. The helicopter belongs to Airfirst hospitality and Tour Ltd with registration number 5NCCQ”.
