Sunshine Stars have appointed Kabiru Dogo as Head Coach ahead of te 2018/19 season on a one-year contract, but the Coach who is without a major silverware has been handed the objective of steering the Owena waves to league glory.
Last week the management of Sunshine Stars announced some sweeping changes including the sack of players and an overhaul of the technical crew.
Among the names affected was Henry Abiodun; a long term employee of the club, who has served in various positions, including as caretaker Coach, a position he held last season.
Dogo’s appointment was greeted by mixed reactions and despite his experience, fans have expressed fears the former Nasarawa Coach could suffer a quick exit from the club.

The Coach was unrelieved on Tuesday after he officially put pen to paper at the Club’s administrative office in Akure.
