I want to win NPFL title with Tornadoes – Bernard Ogbe

Niger Tornadoes manager, Bernard Ogbe has reiterated his commitment to winning a title with the Nigeria professional football league side come next season.

Ogbe was appointed as the new manager for the Ikon Allah boys ahead of the next season’s Nigeria professional football league which will begin in January next year.

 

Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes is far away in the ancient city of Kano participating in the 2018 Ahlan and the Coach said the preseason tournament will prepare his team for the NPFL season in 2019.

 

“We started preparing for the season late but we came into the tournament to test the strength of our team in preparation for the incoming NPFL season and as we have gotten two goals against a side that won by 6 goals in their first game then I’ll say the boys will definitely pick up’.

 

The veteran gaffer concluded by disclosing to the media team that his side will go into the new season to win the NPFL title.

 

“My expectations, there is a reason why I was appointed to be the Coach of Tornadoes and I am not losing sight of the set objectives and I know that my coming in is to improve the fortunes of the team and we will do everything humanly possible to make sure that we will be part of the competitors and not as participants and at the end of the season we will compete for the top prize, he concluded.
