Ivory Coast Coach Paolo Povia vows Les Éléphants will fight Nigeria like Animals

Ahead of Today’s 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifying game against Nigeria, Head Coach of Ivory Coast, Paolo Povia says his team will come out fighting like ANIMALS.

Ivory Coast have 8 points from the first phase of the qualifiers and only and only barely progressed to reach the second phase in Lagos, but Povia believes the Team still has a fighter’s chance.

On paper for the Ivoriens, there’s only a mathematical chance of upstaging Senegal, Nigeria , but a plausible case against Rwanda and the Central African Republic for a world cup ticket because they sit outside the qualifying spot.

In a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comPovia declared his team’s readiness and insists that until all hope is snuffed out, his players will take the fight to every team.

‘I think we are ready, We know that it is difficult, mathematically, to get this ticket, but it is possible. And till the moment that it’s impossible, we play like Animals to win every game,’ Les Éléphants Coach vowed.
