Super Eagles World Cup midfielder Joel Obi has joined Turkish club Alanyaspor on loan from Chievo Verona untill the end of the season.
Alanyaspor, who have previously had Kenneth Omeruo on loan, have the option to buy him at the end of the loan.
This will be the first time the midfielder will play outside Italy after he broke through to the Inter Milan first team from the youth ranks.
He joined Verona from Torino in August 2018 and the contract was till 2021.
He has previously featured for the likes of Parma.
The 27-year-old Obi has made 11 appearances in the Serie A league this season.
