Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette has returned to training but remains a doubt for Thursday’s Europa League clash against Vorskla Poltava.
Lacazette was forced to withdraw from the France squad for the recent games against the Netherlands and Uruguay due to a troublesome groin injury, while he missed Arsenal’s 2-1 win away to Bournemouth on Sunday.
He joined his team-mates for Wednesday’s training session ahead of the trip to Ukraine but he is unlikely to feature against Vorskla Poltava as the Gunners are due to face Tottenham in the north London derby on Sunday.
Arsenal have confirmed that Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny will be assessed before Thursday’s game, while Nacho Monreal (hamstring), Dinos Mavropanos (groin) and Danny Welbeck (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
