2018 NPFL Champion and Lobi Stars defender, Ebube Duru says the club is determined to prove they are worthy of the champion status and have resumed preparation for next season.
Lobi Stars were crowned champions by default after the season was ended following an agreement reached by the 20 NPFL clubs.
The Markurdi based club were knocked out of the Aiteo Cup in the qualifying rounds, but have now turned their focus to next season’s CAF Champions League according to Ebube.
The defender, who recently earned his call up to the Super Eagles, says it is important for Lobi Stars to show they are worthy representatives of Nigeria on the continent, and the club is ensuring it builds a solid team by keeping the core of players.
