Mikel’s 2018 World Cup Jersey added to FIFA Museum

The FIFA museum located in Zürich, Switzerland has announced that the jersey worn by Super Eagles Captain John Mikel Obi in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory at the Volgograd Arena during the 2018 World Cup has been added to its collections.

Ahmed Musa’s brace was enough to beat Iceland who was making their first appearance at the World Cup.

However, they managed to avoid defeat to Lionel Messi’s Argentina in their opening game, playing 1:1 draw. But the loss to Nigeria is their first at the World Cup.

“Argentina couldn’t claim three points against hardy newcomers, Iceland, but the @NG_Supereagles did – and they did it in style.
