General secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation Dr. Mohammed Sanusi has downplayed the 3-0 defeat suffered by Nigeria’s women national team, Super Falcons against China women in the China Invitational tourney.
Sanusi said friendly matches are just avenues to help test the team, blend them together and try out a number of options available to the coach.
He also revealed that the NFF has hope on the team and decided to be practical in their approach so as to ensure they are well prepared which informed the decision to rollout the women’s world cup preparation program and training out in good time.
