NNL side ABS appoint Hassan Abubakar as new head Coach

Nigeria National League side ABS FC of Ilorin, has confirmed former Golden Eaglets handler, Hassan Abubakar as the team new Head Coach on Friday.

In a statement signed by the Club’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka on Friday in Ilorin, revealed Abubakar has agreed to join the Club ahead of the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League (NNL) season and will be unveiled on Saturday.

 

The former Technical Adviser of Olympic FC of Niamey, Niger Republic is expected to resume his new position on Monday and it has been confirmed that he retained nine players from the current team and the players includes, Horlah Oladeji, Tomiwa Adesokan, Mubaraq Gata, Shola Abdulraheem, Olakunle Olusegun, David Okoromi, Great Osamuyi, Emmanuel Atoe and Oyelade Mubarak.

Chukwuemeka added that Abubakar is coming to the club with huge experience having managed Niger Tornadoes, Kaduna United, Zamfara United, Sunshine Stars, Wikki Tourists, JUTH, Dolphins and recently guided Gombe utd FC to the NPFL top flight.

 

Abubakar will be expected to lead the Club back to Nigeria Professional Football League next season.
