Octogenarian kills wife, 75, for refusing him sex

Edo State Police Command, yesterday, paraded an Octogenarian, Gabriel Ahuwa, 84, for allegedly killing his 75 years old wife over refusal to have sex with him in the state .

The Octogenarian was among the 198 suspects paraded by the Edo State Police Publlic Relations Officer( PPRO) Mr. Chidi Nwabuzor, for armed robbery, kidnapping, unlawful possession of fire arms, murder, cultist among others crimes.
Chidi said one of the suspects, Gabriel Uhuwa, an Octogenarian has been having issue with his wife, over her refusal to have sex with him whenever he asked for sex as husband.

He said the suspect is not remorseful and that he felt what he has done is the best solution to his problem.

Speaking with journalists, Gabriel said, his wife has refused to have sex with him for a long time.
“My wife was not listening to me, anytime I asked her to come and sleep with me, she always declined. We have seven children together five boys and two girls”
He said he had reported the matter to his children and that one of her daughters came to talk to his wife but she didn’t listen.
“I reported the matter to my family and her family, but she failed to listen to them and continued her old ways and I was hearing information that pastors are sleeping her.
“Each time I demanded for sex, either she would tell me she is sick or she has ulcer yet I am hearing rumour that she is sleeping with other men and I don’t have money to carry prostitutes”
He said following his complain, his children had refused to send him money as well as picking his calls, alleging that his late wife has poisoned their mind towards him.
” So on Saturday last week in the afternoon in the house, I pick up a cutlass and cut her all over her body. I did it in anger, because she was not obeying me and I want people to know of it”

He,however, said he regretted killing his wife after committing the crime.

But one of his son who craved anonymity denied the allegation of abandoning their father, saying that they sent him money five days ago.
