Ohanu reveals MFM’s comeback secret against Niger Tornadoes

MFM Striker Michael Ohanu has hailed his teammates for the character they shown in coming back from two goals deficit to snatch the three points from Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.

Niger Tornadoes was about to pull one of the greatest away win in one of the matches of matchday seven of the Nigeria  Professional Football League at the Soccer Temple in Agege as they raced to early two goals lead within the first 15 minutes of the memorable encounter.

 

However, the Olukoya Boys fought back and scored three goals to complete one of the biggest turnarounds in league history as they continue their impressive start to the season.

 

Attacker Michael Ohanu who was among the three goals scorer to the Fidelis Ilechukwu side said in a chat with Brila.net’s Seyi Alao that the team believed they are capable of turning things around but were shocked to fall behind.

 

“It was shocking to fall behind, but it was a great game and I wanna give kudos to my teammates, we all work very hard for the game but at the end, we won it”

 

The former Kwara United goal poacher added that Fidelis Ilechukwu half talks gave the boy the believes to chase the three points.

 

“The most important thing is that we believe that we can do it and Our coach strongly believe that we can do it and he encouraged us to go back and get the maximum points” he concluded.

 

MFM are sitting pretty on top of the Group A log with fifteen points from seven games and are closely followed by Sunshine Stars of Akure.
