Peter Rufai: Uzoho not ‘Good enough’ to be Super Eagles No. 1

Super Eagles legend Peter Rufai has once again aired his honest opinion on Francis Uzoho, saying the Elche man does not have the qualities to be the Super Eagles’ first choice.

Speaking on Brila FM during and after the Super Eagles 3-2 massive win over Libya in Sfax on Tuesday night, Rufai said Uzoho is a young man that needs nurturing into the future.

“Uzoho is not good enough to be Number one, he should be understudying ahead of the years ahead of him in the National team, Says Dodo MAYANA.

Rufai who is regarded as Nigeria’s finest Goalkeeper of all time also called on the Gernot Rohr led coaching crew to carefully re-assess the goalkeeping department of the Eagles noting that there are a lot of talented goalkeepers in Nigeria who can make the goalkeeping department more competitive than it is at the moment.

Following the win over Libya,  the Eagles have now gone on a 3-match winning streak and presently top the group with 9 points.
