Nigerian youth Tennis prodigy Philip Abayomi says the Country has potential but is lagging behind its West Africa neighbours Togo.
Abayomi identified tennis facilities, sponsorship, and coaching as areas where Nigeria must focus and improve on in order to come to par with the likes of Benin Republic, Togo, and Ghana in the sub-region.
In a chat with brila.net, the Junior circuit Tennis player decried the lethargic pace of development in the Sport within the Country.
He did point to a few signs that succour could be on the horizon with the efforts of the National Federation to increase the number of Open tournaments in the Country in 2018.
