Rivers United new boy David Ogar admits NPFL is tougher than NLO

Rivers United’s new acquisition, David Ogar has told brila.net that the NPFL is far more technical than the NLO.

The NLO is the third tier of football in Nigeria and David Ogar played for  Cynosure FC of Abakaliki in that division.
“It’s been a wonderful experience so far. Coming from the NLO to the NPFL, it was not really easy for me at first by I’m trying to cope and live up to the expectations of the NPFL.
“In the NPFL we play more of space football, unlike the NLO where I came from. It was difficult at first but I’ve been able to get back my momentum as a player and as a midfielder.
“Thanks to the senior players who have tried to carry me along. It’s been wonderful and I’m enjoying the ride, so far I’ve played 6 games all 90mins.”
Ogar was discovered by scouts of Rivers United during a Pre-Season Tournament in Abakaliki and Gold Cup in Akure and has been able to settle into top-flight action.
