Former Kwara United defender Shuaibu Yunusa Lanre is on the verge of joining Nasarawa United ahead of the coming Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The 28-year-old reliable defender was ever present in the Harmony boys team last season and was a link with the host of premier league giants.
The former Ijayapi rock defender who is also link with another NPFL side Yobe Desert Stars told brila.net’s Seyi Alao he’s favouring a move to the solid miners ahead of the Ngozi Elechi tutored side.
“Yobe Desert Stars wanted me but Nasarawa United is the team after my heart, I will resume training with the team tomorrow and hopefully I can sign the contract”.
Nasarawa United identified Shuaibu as the ideal replacement for Seun Sogbeso who left the club in the current transfer window after five seasons.
