Sunshine Stars of Akure are hoping they can reach an agreement with MFM football club of Lagos over the services of attacker Adebayo Waheed.
Waheed who’s currently on loan at Rivers United attracted interest from several clubs in the Nigeria professional football league giants like Akwa United, Kano Pillars, Kwara United and Sunshine Stars.
It is believed that only the Owena Waves has made a contact with the management of Olukoya Boys.
The 18-year-old joined the pride of Rivers in the middle of last season and didn’t feature in the league due to how it was ended and his appearances were in Aiteo Cup.
Cornerstonenewsng.comalso gathered that the player is currently training with Rivers United but it’s unclear if he will stay put at the club before the current transfer window closes.
