The Nigeria Tennis season will soon get underway and women’s number player Samuel Blessing says she intends to double the effort in practice as she expects the competition for the top spot to be even tougher in 2019.
Blessing picked up almost every major championship last year, knocking Sarah Adegoke off the top spot in the year-end rankings by the Nigeria Tennis Federation.
Speaking on her plans for the new season, the Tennis star told brila.net that she knows “the target will be on me now”.
She reiterated the need for more hard work this season and keeping a focused mind like she did for the most part in 2018.
