A letter signed by the club media director, Mr. Jibo Zakari stated that the club Managing director, Mallam Abdulrahman Ago has approved three-match ultimatum issue to the technical crew of the Northern club after the management held an emergency meeting with members of the club.

Yobe Desert Stars are in 11th position on the log of NPFL Group B table with 7 points from 7 games played so far, they travel to Lafia to face Nasarawa United on Matchday 10 of 2018/19 Nigeria professional football league season.
