Ex-International, Garba Lawal has stated that he is optimistic of seeing a renewed Super Eagles team that will represent the Nation in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Speaking in a chat with brila.net’s Pius Idoko, Lawal insisted that everybody is sitting on the wall at the moment and does not know exactly what is the way forward for the national team.
According to the former Levski Sofia of Bulgaria winger, he is just observing and he’s also looking forward to seeing a renewed super eagles in time for the next World Cup in Qatar.
The Super Eagles crashed out of the just concluded Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup in the first round after losing to Croatia, and Argentina.
The Eagles only win of the tournament came in the second encounter against the tiny European nation, Iceland where Ahmed Musa got a brace.
