Nigeria’s group game opener against Germany in the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup is “onerous” according to former Falconets coach, Adat Egan.
Twice the Falconets have finished as runners-up to Germany in the competition; in 2010 and 2014, but now they must strive to change the “unpleasant narratives”, Egan told Brila.net
The Falconets will get their campaign under way in France on Monday with a lunch-time kick off against the three-time champions at the Stade Marville in Saint-Malo.
