Recent Super Eagles invitee Samuel Kalu was very much in the celebratory mood as he was active in the game.
Although the Nigerian lost saw his penalty saved, his was one of the best players on the pitch for Bordeaux with a 7.2 rating per WhoScored.com
The club was in the news weeks ago when now former Manager, Gus Poyet criticized the club management and was subsequently dismissed.
