Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun was paraded by coach Chris Hughton for the entire 90 minutes in Brighton‘s English FA Cup over Bournemouth to advance to the fourth round of the competition on Saturday.
Brighton was desperate for a victory after throwing away two goals to draw 2-2 at West Ham United in their last Premier league game.
Anthony Knockaert, Yves Bissouma and Florin Andone all found the net for Brighton while Marc Pugh scored the only consolation goal for Eddy Howe’s side in the second half.
The match was Balogun‘s first game in the competition and has made nine appearances for Brighton across all competition.
