Despite their early exit from the Africa Basketball League, Abdul Yahaya will remain with the Royal Hoopers to see out the rest of his one-year deal with the club.
Yahaya joined the Kingsmen from Pillars to bolster the roster on the club’s return to the continent.
He averaged 16.7 points, 7.0 rebounds (second best) and 2.0 assists per game, with a 13.0 efficiency; making him their best player in the three games played in Morocco.
The Nigeria international is also 8th overall in the leaders stats board during the group stages of the ABL.
Meanwhile, Cornerstonenewsng.comconfirmed the players have been given leave to proceed on post season break after arrival from the tournament and will now await news of the date for the 2019 season.
