With about 13 matches played in this season’s abridged version of the NPFL, NPFL legend and player’s advisor, Victor Ezeji has so far hailed the improvement in the league this season but was quick to add that the LMC can still do more.
MFM FC currently top group A of the league while El Kanemi Warriors occupy the top spot in group B.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Ezeji also highlighted the quality of the goals so far this season as well as teams now getting points away from home.
“The league has solidly improved like we all know, just some issues due to TV rights which I believe will be sorted out”.
“We have done well, that’s my opinion, but there is no perfect end to this, there are still some loopholes which I believe the LMC will work on”.
“In life, you need to evaluate things and then say okay, this is where I need to add and this is where I need to subtract”.
“The league has been so good, people are so wonder goals that we haven’t seen in a long while, teams are also winning away games as this has not happened in the past”.
